San Miguel de Allende—A Living Masterpiece
Touted as México’s most beloved Artists’ Town, residents of San Miguel de Allende will find the city more than lives up to its name. - Artesana Art Exhibit – a rotating gallery of world-class artwork, on display for guests and residents of Artesana
- Bellas Artes – a school for the arts, featuring music lessons, language classes, concerts and more
- Art galleries – A host of local galleries, including Galeria San Miguel, Galeria Atenea and Casa de la Cuesta, display regional artwork in all forms
- Los Originales de Papel Machier – a local paper mache factory that creates many products sold throughout town
- Art classes – An array of art classes taught by talented locals, including silver jewelry workshops by Master Jeweler Enrique Lopez; painting, collage and sculpture classes by Ingalora Dwyer; and drop-in watercolor classes by Edina Sagert
- Fabrica La Aurora – this unique art and design center – converted from an old textile factory – houses over 30 artists, galleries, antique shops and stores
